Effective analytical method for Hydrogen detection?

Hi, i want to analyze rare-earth phosphor powders for hydrogen diffusion, adsorption/absorption. They are essentially Y2O3 crystal structures, what would be the best analytical method?

In my opinion you need to perform Thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS) analysis, more specifically you need Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD) of hydrogen reaction on Y2O3 powder, which can determin the desorbed molecules from a surface when the surface temperature is increased.
