In newly formed Uttarakhand state, government put the faith in the conventional model of development but also is working with a single-mined goal of increasing monetary wealth through industrialization. The major constraint of this goal is it does not recognize the industrial development in mountainous regions of Uttarakhand. Although it is quite obvious that the development of industries in hills is very challenging that requires development of new techniques to remove these constraints.
