Is anyone is there who is using E-prime for auditory reaction time measurement?
Or If anyone can provide any research paper that used E-prime software to calculate auditory ( or verbal) reaction time, it would be very helpful.
P.S : It may be any auditory or verbal cognitive test or any test that requires collecting your vocal or verbal response and calculate the reaction time for it.
Hello! I was just wondering if you ever figured out a solution to this issue for yourself. I need to do reaction time for an online experiment and I was going to have my participants speak yes or no and then measure the reaction time as the interval between the stimulus and their response but it seems like there is not a great way to do that. I have read that just relying upon when the sound in task starts is inaccurate, and while it might help to have some sort of reference tone to start from and just have the recording start sooner, my concern is that my participants will be wearing headphones and any noise that I have the program make will not be registered by their microphone. Did you figure anything out?
