Since I take bath in the river Ganga at its Assi bank and have noticed that sometimes it is flowing towards me, shortly after it is flowing away, another instant it starts taking the path towards left or right; it will be good for me to know why it is happening so. In Varanasi the river Ganga moves from South towards North.

I have noticed this water flow movements from South to North.
While flooding the runoff can't be measured that is very difficult because it will be out of our control.
I feel that Varanasi the water 💦 is passing through Kasi. Even the human beings have to chains otherwise everything will wash out due to the speed of the water flow.
Anyhow, holy river of India. The north India has blessed I huge water potentials for agriculture whereas the south India has limited in the water resources comparatively.
I heard that the water is com from Himalayan hills towards to north Indian states. The river Ganges have great history in Geo-spatial structures in the World map. Government of India has to have huge investment to supply to the whole India with River Basin Water Supply System in the future. As to my knowledge and experience that India is not poor country in terms of all resources Prof. India is a model country to the world.
