As we know, in real applications we must use GRE materials under the glass transition temperature (Tg). I have a E-glass Epoxy composite pipe and i'm working on the effect of hygrothermal conditions on it's performance. I'll do test on the different temperature below Tg. But which method can i use to determine Tg exactly ?
DSC or DMA ?
Which method is more confident?
I could not find suitable reference for this answer.
Can anyone help me on this ?

As Yusuf Kahraman mentioned above you must use DMA. It is because of the fact that Your matrix is a termoset polymer.

For (heavily) filled thermoset materials, DMA is definitely better. I gave a presentation several years ago that directly compares DMA and DSC. Take a look at it.
DMA is the best option, because the change in thermal properties on Tg (e.g. heat capacity in DSC) is much less than the change of the mechanical behavior in the DMA on Tg.

You can use both DSC and DMA. in your case you have fibre reinforced epoxy composite. In this case better you go for DMA. Actually DSC also a powerful tool but the sample preparation for DSC is so hectic. if you not provide the correct specimen then your results may be wrong. So for fibre based composites DMA is better. In DMA the size of sample is near 50mm it is easy to get and prepare.
