It depends on Environmental regulation and scale of plant. For small plant ( capacity below 50 kg/day ) it would be suitable but not for large plant. As per environmental regulation it will not be recommended ( Because of inconsistency before saturation)
Since clinical wastes usually consist of plastic waste and plastics usually contain chlorine, thus clinical waste incinerators produce dioxins and Furans. Accordingly, a more robust treatment technology is requires for their emissions. If you are going to use a dry scrubber, you may need to control the amount of chlorine-containing wastes in the incinerator feed, or use higher temperatures in incinerator combustion chamber to break dioxins and furans.
