Do you want to know what really happens in the double slit? Just look at what the equations say, true that if you don't deduce Eq. of Schrodinger in a formal way you will not know, but you can discard many absurd interpretations

Where dark streaks appear, the two photons superimpose each other, losing or weakening the volatility. The same is true for electrons. Does it mean that the electrons are gone? Where is the quality of electronics? Have the photons and electrons that lost their volatility disappeared? Or did they become something else?

I cannot agree with this paper. If the detection apparatus is a photographic film then a photon that impacts it is absorbed by the film and generates a chemical change in the film that produces a dark spot when the film is developed. The photon does not persist. It is a matter of experience that when light is sent through a double slit apparatus that uses a photographic film as a detection method then an interference pattern appears on the film, when it is developed, even when the light intensity is so low that only a single photon would be in the apparatus at any given time.

My answer:

I have also thought about this problem. A photon is a short electromagnetic wave. The photon will pass through the double slit at the same time and form wave interference. No matter whether the photon is sent one by one or continuously, the effect is the same. The principle of double-slit interference of electrons may be different from that of photons. An electron cannot be split into two electrons to pass through the double slit like a photon, and electrons can only pass through one slit. Finally, to form interference fringes, only the previously sent electrons and newly arrived electrons can form an interference superposition on the screen.(Just like the analysis in my paper) Both of these explanations do not destroy the wave-particle duality. Any wave will show particles when it encounters an object much larger than its own wavelength; and any particle has volatility, even the earth, its orbit is a spiral wave state. If two earths pass through a suitable double-slit, they can cancel each other out.

Due to the obvious volatility of photons, the photons pass through the double slits inthe form of waves at the same time, forming interference. This is a very good question. Electromagnetic waves are oscillating particle waves emitted in space derived from electric and magnetic fields that are in phase and perpendicular to each other. They are electromagnetic fields that propagate in the form of waves and have a wave-particle duality.

Wave is a form of energy transfer, whether it is mechanical wave or electromagnetic wave, it is a kind of energy transfer.

Let me give you an example. When you throw a stone into the water, you will observe a water wave. This is a longitudinal wave. The direction of vibration of the wave is perpendicular to the direction of propagation. However, in addition to water waves, sound waves are also generated. This is a transverse wave, and the vibration direction of the wave is the same as the propagation direction. The speed of sound waves is much greater than that of water waves. Both of these waves are energy transfer methods.

The universe is full of waves, there are transverse waves and longitudinal waves. Electromagnetic waves are produced by alternating electric and magnetic fields. Its speed depends on the properties of the medium. At the same time, gravity also has a certain influence on the propagation speed of electromagnetic waves. The greater the gravitational force, the slower the speed of electromagnetic waves.

Any wave will show particle properties again. In my ebook "Guidance waves" my explanation is that the wave goes through both slits and creates interference effects, which, being energy, create potential channels. The particle goes though one slit, chooses a channel, then bounces around within it. When detected, you detect a point, but as observations shows, get enough points and the character of the fringes emerges. ------------- Ian Miller
