Looks to me to be an AB quartet from the two non-equivalent >CH's (HA HB quartet).

This situation is typical for diastereotopic protons and it happens very often in chiral substances, even if your material is racemic. It may also occur in non-chiral compounds where pseudo-chiral center is present; good example of this is the signal of methylene protons in diethylacetals.
