The majority of developing and underdeveloped countries, their citizens, authorities, and governments are in confused states of affairs. Hence failed due to a lack of standards and regulations to address the housing demand in a systematic and well-guided manner. There are uncontrolled gaps between demand vs finance vs availability of resources vs pricing. All these elements are to be improvised and perfected considering the purchase strength of the underprivileged. Formulation of standards is in waiting, though the avenues of gaps are well exposed and clearly identified, except at some microscopic level, the required finer relativities are to be unsurfaced to help logically connect the gaps. Third-world countries in essence are in a dire need to adopt regulatory standards to address various elements in urbanization to meet housing demand considering the indispensable studies required on environmental impact.
