i really want to know that ceramic capacitor having frequency-independent capacitance and low loss tangent can be used in wireless charging system. which part those capacitors can be replaced? is that for noise suppression in wireless charger? please answer my question if you know.
Hi Jisang, my understanding is that the capacitors in such a system should be able to cope with high AC current and voltages, but also with very low losses. This is needed as if there is poor coupling between the transmitter and receiver, unused power stored in the transmitter's inductor / coil must be recycled and recovered. This is preformed using the capacitors in a resonant type arrangement with the coil. The lower the losses in the capacitor, the more resonant the circuit and the better the ability to effectively recover this "untransferred" power.
