Yes. Its speed may be more than the light speed. It is also guessing because no one this is calculated.
The "time speed" is established by convention, based on the rotary movement of the earth: 1 day is composed of 24 hours, 1 hour of 60 minutes, 1 minute of 60 seconds and so on.
To this is added the "perception" of the flow of time, which varies from individual to individual, as well as from community to community.
Time has no unique speed. Speed depends on the clock you use to measure it.
The speed is always 1.
Speed is usually defined as the derivative with respect to time, d/dt, and dt/dt = 1.

Abstract
Advances in our understanding of the physical universe have dramatically affected how we view ourselves. Right at the core of all modern thinking about the universe is the assumption that dynamics is an elemental feature that exists without question. However, ongoing research into the quantum nature of time is challenging this view: my recently introduced quantum theory of time suggests that dynamics may be a phenomenological consequence of a fundamental violation of time reversal symmetry. I show here that there is consistency between the new theory and the block universe view. I also discuss the new theory in relation to the human experience of existing in the present moment, able to reflect on the past and contemplate a future that is yet to happen.This article is part of a discussion meeting issue 'Foundations of quantum mechanics and their impact on contemporary society'.
The attached paper addresses the 'experience' side of the problem. It correlates consciousness with a coherent wave function.
An analysis of the problem of temporal rate perception reveals that it is impossible to identify a 'cause' or quantity that may serve as an explanation for the PARTICULAR rate at which time iis experienced within the context of a classical physics. However, the analysis reveals that a quantity can be identified within the context of quantum mechanics.
The quantity identified to be responsible to for the rate at which time is experienced is the uncertainty in time of the coherent carrier wave function.
Interestingly, as far as experience is concerned, the physical cause for the rate at which time is experienced is quite different from the cause of the apparent directionality of time. I suspect that this fact may have implications in terms of how we understand time outside of the bounds of human experience.
Concerning physical or psychological definition of time?
Namely, from the psychological point of view - time perception depends on someone's engagement, so we perceive time in relative mode, depending on our interests.
I see now - it's physical point. Ok. But, you maybe could add those psychological point of view, as a part of discussion.
I invite you to think about the three seconds of a night dream, because this three seconds in our real-time can be more than that in our dreams at night, so time can have different speeds I guess.

Dear Mesut, there is, really, very important psychological view of time, and my first association was oriented towards it, because my point of view is teaching methodology. Yes, maybe we could entitle that point of view as something close to an illusion, but perception isn't synonymy for that. Perception includes many objectively present elements of a physical reality.
Once again, sorry for mentioning this ''description'' of time. I didn't read the whole question at the very beginning.
