I am working on segment a video into frames , but have found that the video size is smaller than its total size when converting it into frames , while i am thinking that it has to be smaller because of the audio loss , kindly i need a convincing reason for that.

Thank you for the adequate answer , but what about if i am recording a video by a special camera (ex. 4K ) and then display the video on an Ultra HD screen, i noticed that when i segment the video into frames , the video size is smaller than the total frames file size .
Yes exactly , i am segmenting the video into frames of ultra HD , that's why i am wondering why is the segmented frames file size is bigger than the original video size without segmentation !
The input video resolution is 1080*720 , and so for the output frames .
