Does the signal of the Europium conjugate increase after being stored in the refrigerator for a few days?

I conjugate Europium using EDC and NHS, and I haven't had any issues until now. However, in the last few conjugations, I've observed a significant drop in the initial signal. After conjugation, I spray it onto a pad. The initial signals have dropped significantly compared to before. Interestingly, after storing the conjugate in the refrigerator for a few days, the signals increase and return to the previous levels. Has anyone experienced something similar?
