This is very interesting question! If earning money is something that person really want, then that person should be happy during this process (process of earning money). If we have some goals, and if that goals are earning money, the we should be happy when we are on that path. So, my opinion is that when process of earning money is our goal, the we should be happy when we are reaching that goal.
