The particle size of TiAl3 has to be of blocky shape and size to be in the range of 30 to 50 micron. If the particles of TiAl3 are smaller than this range, ie. 95% TiAl3 are in the range of 20 to 30 micron then will it affect the final grain size of the Al alloy?
What steps to be followed so that TiAl3 are in the range of 30 to 50 micron.

Pierluigi Traverso thanks for the paper, but it does not contain the relevant information on relationship between particle size of TiAl3 and grain size of Al alloy after refinement......in my view if the particles are in the range of 30 to 50 micron (as per the TiBAl standard) then they will remain in the melt for longer time , will fade late and will give the required grain size (
