Please help me to know whether the journal Blumea published by Naturalis Biodiversity Center, the Netherlands, accepts/publishes research articles with respect to floristic studies/new records from India.
I got this query since it has been mentioned in Instructions to authors as "For floristic studies, the focus is on tropical Africa south of the Sahara; tropical Southeast Asia with a strong emphasis on Malesia; ............."

No. It focuses especially on Malesian plants.
You can try Rheedea, Nelumbo, Indian Journal of Forestry, Indian Forester, Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society, Journal of Economic and Taxonomic Botany, etc.

It dépends of species ... For exemple,
I see in Blume the article about Abelmoscus from Amerca, Inde and Africa.

Delighted to learn that Blumea has started publishing papers relating to Indian taxa. Previously they were publishing papers related to Malesian and adjacent Floras only.

The papers you have attached are related to new species (simultaneously with new generic record)/lectotypification of names/assessment of complex nomenclatural issues. So they are not related to new records of plants from India or floristic studies of our country.
There might be few such stray papers but normally they do not publish such papers on flora of Indian region.

Several articles based on the study of Indian region have been published in the journal Blumea. Three more articles by Indian authors are attached herewith. Besides India, I have also seen research works published from China and Nepal in the journal.
These papers are all on new species from India not new record for India. Shiva asked for papers on new records for India.
My initial impression was that the Flora Malesiana Project is nearing completion! However after reading all the replies I would like to say that they are adding references to Indian publications in the Flora Malesiana Bulletin with short sarcastic comments but they are very much reluctant in publishing Indian taxonomic work. Dear Shiva, I strongly discourage submitting your paper to Blumea. At least I am not happy with the editorial board of this journal due to some valid reasons but I refrain from making any further comment in this public forum.

This is also a new species published with a new generic record.
I just want to emphasize that nothing is impossible but Blumea is unlikely to accept simple new records for India until and unless they have a link with the Malesian flora or of great scientific importance.
As suggested by Dickson, Shiva can contact the editor of Blumea for the final say. I will not comment in this thread anymore.
Look at the aim and the scope of the journal and decide that your work is suitable for this journal or not.
