I think the level at which you are feeding it is a key factor; I found in my study (with pigs) that levels of 2.5 - 5% were fine but that at 7.5% nutrient digestibility may have been impaired. I've attached a paper on its on moringa fed broiler chickens, check it out
the amount of anti nutritional components in the seeds like tannins phytates and tannins is sometimes an issue when digestion and mineral absorption is concerned. unfortunately most of the papers in literature talk of leaf meal not seeds as you indicated Felicitas
True, true. I found one paper on seeds and have attached it, you may/may not have read it already. Have a chat with Dr Nkukwana, shes an expert on both moringa and monogastric nutrition ;-)
