i want to convert image into binary bits and transmit that how can i do that
I wrote this c++ program a lot of years ago, now it is easier using opencv.
You must convert to bmp 24 bits (raw bytes) then leecabecera() and ImprimeCabecera() reads and writes the bmp header.
The bad thing is it written in spanish, the good one is that it uses only a file and a class.
If you can use Matlab, do
> I=imread('image_filename.ext');
> out=fopen('some_file')
> fprintf(out,I)
'image_filename.ext' is the image file you want to read, and 'some_file' is where you want to send the bits to. I can also be a tcp or udp socket, just use for instance
> out=tcpip('127.0.0.1')
instead of fopen(...) for tcp.
(this is from memory, use matlab help for more information)
You can use an image to byte converter like we use to display an image on Graphical LCD if the application you are intended is for Embedded system design.
Or you can follow the procedure described by "Mr. Miguel Belbut Gaspar" above using MATLAB or scilab (an open source tool)

Else try to meet Prof. Elizabeth Rufus/ Prof Zacharia Alex both have very good reference books on signal processing which later points on image processing and it will help you understand the core idea.
