I got the attached notification. However, in my stats option, it's showing the citation count is 0.
Does researchgate only counts citations if an article is referred in published research papers?

I guess RG only counts citation if your article has been added as reference in published papers.

As per my observations, only references in publications are counted.

I have also been observing that citations of published research papers and published conference papers with citations have been taken into consideration as citation counts in Researchgate.
