One of the assessments for students is to faces quizzes in the classroom.This over a sudden way of student assessment is still carried out by many institutes of teaching on university levels.The question is ? is quizz method in teaching valuable?

There are different opinions concerning quizz role in learning.However,I myself recommend this way of treating students in developing and underdevelopin countries rather than developed countries whose students mostly built up different ways.

This method may be somewhat useful. Quizzes make the students to prepare themselves for the lecture and try to read the subjects that were studied. But urgency this method may make the student do not interact with it and the quiz loses its value.

Yes, as a part of gamification it can be of great motivation and therefore have a positive effect on memorizing what is to be learned. I will add some hoepfully useful links.

Generally quizzes are useful for ensuring participatory learning in a class. Such methods generates interest among students in the subject they study and make them active and well-prepared for the classes. In my institution, we usually conduct such programmes "Monday Quizzes" in our classes whether the students learned the topics what we had taught them in the last week.
