Though partially inspired by statement from CEO of Microsoft (https://www.msn.com/en-in/health/medical/permanent-work-from-home-can-be-damaging-for-mental-health-of-employees-says-satya-nadella/ar-BB14fl4F), the question has comes from self realization after working from home for over more than 02 months.

The initial europhic feeling concerning better balance in work and life started to die down after a fortnight only. The division between work and life increasingly became hazy as the days passed. The things became more challenging when employers fail to appreciate that at home too the division needs to be considered sacrosanct. I believe the problem lies in the fact that organizations do not have matching polices in place that appreciate a balance between work and life when employees work permanently or for elongated periods from home. Finally, the myth, for me at least has shattered that more work from home will lead to a better work-life balance or to a larger goal i.e., well-being. My realization is not a result of an organization's policy, rather, I believe is because of getting bored to death by remaining in the same mindset for an elongated period.

As more and more organizations declaring work from home during 1920-21, especially services ones, the mercury of anxiety is shooting up. Though the experience may vary contextually.
