Dear Arezoo,

I would like to thank you for this answer. In fact, at the moment, I just want to see how can I make a network of some computers have a MATLAB and those computers talk to each other. Actually, I am new in distributed MATLAB. Please, could you help me about any information could help to configure the network using MATLAB distributed facilities or MPI or anything else.

Dear Ammar,

As long as you are not concerned with performance (and only concerned with having a virtual network on a single machine), yes, it works. I have used VMWare in the past to write and debug a distributed program.

The MPI stuff that Arezoo talks about is a library of functions that can be used to write distributed memory parallel programs. I am not sure if MATLAB uses that or not.
