I'm looking for a paper with solid conclusions about any negative impact of increment bore coring (fundamental dendrochronology tool) on cored trees and/or forest ecosystems. Does anyone know such studies?

There is a review paper by Tsen et al. (2015) but can someone suggest something else?

This issue is important because of existing limitations within for instance strictly protected areas (national parks). Do we have any arguments that could support our studies in such zones?

Best regards,

Lukasz
