I think the era of globalization in the era of it is now very useful and provide more convenience to everyone to access everything. In this case the ease with which it has been in get by the public to access something anything in a more practical to give happiness to everyone.
Depends on the metric you are using to measure the happiness of individuals. If the definition of globalization is the increase of market access and adding employment opportunities for a mobile work force (i.e. migrants) looking at the life-work balance in the working conditions could be a possible gauge.
