We are trying to deconvolute a peak which is formed by two asymmetric peaks, as they do not fit well with gaussian nor lorentzian fitting methods, typical deconvolution by origin it is not possible.
Moreover, these peaks fit adequately with asymmetric double sigmoidal equation.

In order to reply, one should know the origin of the data, and hence if a suitable theoretical model accounting for the spectral shape exists.
In the literature, a successful approach was tested by introducing an energy dependance in the half-width of pseudo-Voigt functions.
In any case, an attempt could be possibly done with the Fytik program, introducing an asymmetry in a Voigt curve decomposition (https://fityk.nieto.pl/model.html).
I have used Fityk for peak fitting purpose..Very good program. But I could not deconvolute the peaks without doing base line subtraction. With base line subtraction, the software performs well. But where it is required to represent a deconvoluted peak with base line (like in XPS) I am not sure whether the software can be used or not.
