Hi, is there any expert or someone who does some upfront research already, in this field, to tell me if this topic worth a research proposal?

There are existing methods to remove/ reduce the distortions for electrically conductive distortions in EM tracking. However, distortions from ferromagnetic and permanent magnetic material still remain as unsolved problems.

I am wondering if machine learning would help in this field.
