I seen the syllabus of many universities for PhD program. These subjects are read by a candidate in either B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) and M.Tech (Master of Technology). The PhD is a doctor of philosophy not Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), I mean teacher training.

Earlier Peoples think that, if a candidate is doing PhD it means he want to become a Professor. but now the time has been changed, PhD candidate have options in Industries as well as in academics. So its the right time for the university higher authorities to think about the elimination of course work from PhD program and help to save the energy and time of the researchers for nation as well as world.
