I am searching for a software that helps to constrain convergence directions and related shortening estimates at the regional scale of gently deformed sedimentary rocks (mainly sandstones and limestones ±mudstones) outlining gentle dome and basin structures at the km-scale. Deformation occurred mainly by flexural slip folding, thrust and strike-slip faulting, possibly during transpressional deformation. I am happy for every hint. Thank you very much in advance.

We are currently developing modelling tools for building structural models in folded and poly-deformed terranes.
The project is a collaboration between Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and The RING team at GeoRessources (Lorraine University, France).
The current form of the tool is a plugin for gocad based on some plugins developed at the RING team.
We are making it possible to use a lot of different structural observation fold axis, axial foliation, for the different folding events in your area.
Fold interference is also one of our objectives with this tool.
It is not directly directing at estimating convergence directions and shortening estimate, but it works by inferring the principal finite strain directions for the different folding events. So I think it might help you in your research.

I'm not sure if this is relevant and I may be biased towards the software I'm using but, Leapfrog 3D is a fairly intuitive 3D modelling package which may be useful to you. It can be used to easily and quickly build 3d surfaces, such as folds (even gentle regional scale ones) or faults, using inputs such as, drill data, surface maps, structural data (X,y z, DD, Dip). Once built, average surface orientations of your faults and interference folds can be manually extracted. You still have to do the thinking, but the software will build a spatially accurate 3d rendering from which you can do your analyses.
there is plugin developed by Schlumberger linked to PETREL called eXpandBG for 3D Near well structural modeling& Reservoir mapping services.
This technology is :
- Based on principles developed for SediView and StrucView extended to 3D, multi well and multi structure modeling.

- Well logs
- Borehole dip data (WL or LWD images, extracted from seismic)
- PeriScope, PeriScopeHD, GeoSphere data (dips and horizon interpretation)
