It is mainly a pathogen of the immunosuppressed, so therefore shouldn't affect you in most cases. We do work with pathogens of the immunocompromised such as Cryptococcus and Aspergillus, and I believe we use Level 2 facilities. There are some groups that use parasites such as Trypanosoma and Giardia and I think they use Level 3. Level 2 facilities should be fine.
