I'm trying to measure human body skin temperature precisely. But I just noticed that almost all current commonly used sensors like Ibutton, HOBO, and FLIR thermal camera don't have high enough accuracy. Their accuracy is 0.5oC or even less.
If anyone know some solutions, please share your information. I think this would be very helpful to the community. Thank you very much!

The MLX90614 sensor family has a medical grade sensor that has an accuracy of 0.1 deg C in the range of temperatures typically observed in skin. It is a non contact sensor and does not need to be taped to the skin (which can create some temperature buildup in the taped area). It does need to be kept close to the skin.

The PR103J2 (USSENSOR, USA) NTC thermistor sensor is recommended.
The accuracy is guaranted with +/-0.05 degree Celceus (from 0 degree C to 50 degree C range) by the product company. Among of commercial products, the price is reasonable and the output value is reliable.
The hash table; resistance versus temperature, is supported, therefore it is easy to build a skin thermometer.
By the way, to get a precise skin thermometer, enginnering knowledge should be supported relating to transducer design and development.
If your research protocol is sensitive for the response time (TC; time constant), I couldn't recommend the PR103J Model. Considering several recommendations; contact surface between human skin and sensor, probably the final TC will be 20 - 30s. If the response time is not important then I recommend the PR103J2 model(USSENSOR, USA).
