Hello all. In the FDA guideline regarding wound healing (like diabetes foot ulcers) it is defined that the "quality of healing" will consist of two components: cosmetics and function, where cosmetics have several factors: scarring, the contour and the feel of the skin, normalization of the skin markings. Function is defined as hyperthropic scarring. If I want to plan a clinical trial for a new treatment for wound healing, and I wish to use the quality of healing as a secondary endpoint, how do I measure these factors, are there any known scales to make it a bit less subjective ? Thank you in advance.
