We are doing a research project and want to make the transcripts open-access so anyone can use them. I'm wondering if anyone has experience of this and can suggest if an appropriate license is needed (such as Creative Commons?).
Secondly, are there any open-access repositories of qualitative data? I've found plenty for statistical quant data, but not for qualitative text and transcripts...

Thanks everyone, the ukdataservice/data-archive (which seem to link to the same thing) look like just what I was looking for. I can't find any qualitative datasets on figleaf yet, just articles.
The transcripts will be fully anonymised, and the consent and information states that respondent's transcripts will be made available to download for any use. Thanks again,

Sorry for the late post. Qualitative data empower you to undertake you research through interviews. I advice you to read the following book Saunders, M., and Lewis, P. (2012). Doing Research in Business and Management. Halow: Financial Times Prentice Hall.
