I am analysing dingo tracking data and it would be very useful to be able to generate Biased Random Bridge Movement Models. An imminent thesis due date precludes me from learning how to to it in R, and I was hoping someone may know of a tool for ArcGIS which will do the job.

Try HAWTH TOOLS which is a freeware supportable in ArcGIS 9ver. I read an article in which they used Hawth tool for studying bat movements.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I realise that R is the way to go (for everything really). However, unfortunately my skills are poor and I don't have the time to learn, as I intend to submit my PhD thesis within the next few months. I've been using Ranges8, Hawth's tools and ArcMET, which have enabled me to generate ranges which will answer my research questions but I had hoped to generate Biased Random Bridge Movement Models as an added bonus. Oh well, it looks like BRB and proficiency with R will have to wait until post-thesis :) Thanks again.
Problem solved :) Simon Benhamou (who developed the method) provides a software package which does the job, and he has been very generous with suggestions, and offers of assistance should I need it:
