I’m ultimately investigating the effects of different information delivery systems on students’ learning and memories formation (recall) by a two-group design and want to correlate the groups on attention. Many of the assessments (paper and pencil and online versions) such as the Connors CPT, Posner, and TEA are too expensive and/or take too much time to score a sample size of 200 college students. I don’t want to subject the participants to too much “downtime” while scoring them prior to randomly assigning to groups correlated on attention scores. I am in a small psychology department with limited funds for this and need to complete this study to use as a basis for writing a grant to pay for assessment instruments for future studies.
Hello, Anthony. may be Schulte tables, which usually used for attention training could help you. You can generate new one for every case and can get the score in seconds, but there no levels of attention, only seconds. there are a lot of free versions, for example:

If it is sustained attention you want to study, then the sustained attention to response task (SART) is quick - it takes 3 minutes and can even be run on a java enabled mobile telephone. Neuropsychologia. 2002;40(1):1-6.

Hello Anthony, you can also use Psycho-motor Vigilance test to assess sustained attention. It takes 10 minutes and gives instant scores.
Hi Anthony, I'm thinking about a somewhat different solution to your need-- To be able to test 200 student's attention on-line and receive instant for the entire sample. ~~There is a type of teaching facility called "IRS – Interactive Response System ", it is designed to Increase proactive learning of students through remotes clicking. The system can do instant simultaneous assessment, quiz and other activities of up to 1000 students, as well as demonstration of statistics, charts, rankings and preceding records. I've used the IRS system in my class (~130 people). If your university has already purchased the system, you can take advantage of that. You can design your own attention task with Power Point slideshow and use IRS as the scoring tool. Just a thought to share with you. Hope this helps. Regards, Sarina
