you need the instrument software to convert it to the other formats. may be if you can open the file with Essential FTIR software you might be able to change it to ASC file format and then you can open it up with excel.

If you are inquiring about FT-IR spectrum, there extension of spectrums are different from version to version such as *.asc and *.csv or other extensions, I know method export it to excel but I do not check if it is useful for *.sp, you can check it as attached.

I have FTIR spectrum file by xps. I want to draw the spectra by using origin software. But, i haven't csv file for origin software. How could I get the csv file from xps file?. I have tried to convert it to csv. But, still I didn't get. Let you help me.
