I am concluding an IoT project on interconnecting Things (Bottles, Books, Cups, even electrical appliances etc). How can I control these items using USSD technology or Entity Identification Numbers via MMMI?

Firstly, I will ask you the following questions:
1. What Issue/Issues Are You Trying To Resolve With This Project?
The issue/issues you are trying to solve will decide how you will interconnect THINGS.
2. What Do You Mean By MMMI?

Secondly, a good understanding of IoT (that is, Internet As Used By Things), will show that IoT and USSD are two different INDEPENDENT technologies. USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data < +CUSD >) is one of the many AT and Extended-AT Commands used to control intelligent modems and implement technologies like SMS on GSM/CDMA Telephone Networks. It is possible to implement the concept of IoT on GSM/CDMA Telephone Networks which do not have anything to do with Internet. Example is: You do not need to connect to the Internet to send SMS messages - a process grossly taken for granted and even mistakenly believed to have something to do with the Internet.
So, answering the two questions above will greatly help in providing you with helpful answers.
