For a seminar paper I created a priming experiment design but unfortunately I have no experience in programming. Are there any (preferably free or not expensive) tools for conducting priming experiments?
There are two different kinds of trials planned, one consisting of one prime and one target. Here the reaction time shall be measured. The second consists of one prime and two targets. The participants would have to select one of the two targets. Here, the correctness of the target selection as well as the reaction time shall be measured.

PsychoPy works great and is free. It has a builder, so I think you can build an experiment without programming (I think, because I've never used the builder myself). But also the programming language is pretty straightforward.

For priming experiment, there is a non-free program, called "E-Prime" :

However, I rather recommend you to use "PsychoPy" :

It's a free software we can use in cognitive or social psychology.
The options above are good. There is also 'Opensesame' which is a drag and drop type of experimental builder, and is opensource (free to use). It is underpinned by Python, but you don't need to be proficient at it to build your experiment.

Would you mind telling me about DMDX? Which one is better for a PhD thesis in Psycholinguistics? I want to measure RT and my experiments are based on Priming. Someone suggested me to use PRAAT.
