Does anyone know an experiment where transient flow conditions were created in lab and studied?
Please reference for pipes or porous media if you are aware of any. If someone has done this before, would you please share how you have done it.

u may find lot of material in pipeline and porous media. Imperial College's earth sciences dept are doing lot of work in this area. visit their website and see publications there.
