We need to synthesize cobinamide, vitamin B12 precursor. At neutral pH, cobinamide exists as aquohydroxocobinamide, and at a pH of>11, it exists as dihydroxocobinamide.
From our point of view, aquohydroxocobinamide or cobinamide are the same.
