Hi Delali, I do not know of any existing studies on Dyslexia in West Africa. However, I visited Ghana in the later part of the 20th century and I would be interested in some collaborative research on the topic. Tell me about your project.

Hi Gregory; thanks for your reply and interest. My project is about conducting a large scale dyslexia screening tests in Togo, possibly in Ghana as the beginning of a progressive work in statistical data collection about potential dyslexic individuals in West Africa. Currently, the focus will be on Togo and I am looking for a PhD grant to start the project.

Nevertheless, if you it is possible for you to make some sacrifices (that I am able to do) we can start the work independently prior to discussing on the ways to proceed, the possibles avenues, the eventualities and the mutual agreement.
