This is my question. The main problem of the multibeam data acquisition is less CTD data. For instance, If you have a CTD data from deepest part of your study area to survey multibeam profiles along shelf to abysall plain, it definitely works on continental slope and abysall plain very well. On the other hand, same CTD data (for deep waters) generates crooked sea bottom profiles on shallow waters (shelf) during the acquisition because CTD profiles on shallow waters are generally different than the CTD profiles from deep waters. There are some solutions on processing softwares to make some revisions on CTD profiles but those are time consuming methods and they are not working properly. I have asked this question to learn if there are new solutions and techniques or not.
