I know that you don't want a racing simulator, but I could recommend this one: Assetto Corsa - it does have extensive support and big forum. If you offer some collaboration I'm sure game designers can help you to get some special access to data.
Joaquin Garcia: unfortunately I need a drive simulator for this experiment. But I would like to try your simulator, because it could be useful for further experiments.
Luis Eduave: like you said, there is not a native support for Oculus DK2 in City car driving. I don't want to risk to have bugs of problems for this reason.
have you found a solution for your problem? I am currently facing the same issue- I am looking for a driving simulator (not racing, not flying, no games), to stage-manage a "critical driving situation" (like an accident), which can be shown on Oculus Rift.
The BRDrivingSim is designed for driver testing using a single monitor. It was designed for the PC and runs at 1024 x 768 resolution and might run if the Oculus Rift can handle this level of resolution.
