conditions are as follows:
1. Pt counter electrode
2. Ag/AgCl reference electrode
3. lead chalcoginides quantum dots deposited TiO2 film on FTO -working electrode
4. Na2S/Na2SO3(pH# 13) electrolyte
I am not sure whether this peak is related to electrode material or is it related to the electrolyte? How could we minimize this peak?

Yes, I conducted many times, repeated for more than 18 samples. show the similar behevior..
This looks like an instrumental. I often saw such behavior on not well cleaned glssy carbon electrode. Check your bare FTI electrode in the Na2S/Na2SO3(pH# 13) electrolyte.
You can try different scanrates. If at higher scanrate the peak area increases, it is most likely a capacitive current.
