We are particularly interested in considering the HoloLens as a teaching tool in Medicine and Health Sciences. However, insights from any discipline would be helpful.
I have a couple of questions:
1. How are you using the HoloLens in your course?
2. The actual device seems fragile. Is it a concern having students use the HoloLens when a drop, or even rough-handling, could result in a breakage?
3. Have there been any issues with motion sickness or discomfort from the students when using the device?

No prob at all, just the polygon numbers should be lower in Halolens than HTC vive. HTC vive allows students to have more details on models and interact with them. Motionsickness seems higher in HTC vive than the Halolens. In some cases Halolens is not convenient because of the vision limited into a screen like area so that you can only see a part of the halographic image. In addition, the image disappears if you would like to come very close to the model which is not the case for HTC vive.

It's interesting to hear that you have found the motionsickness to be higher in the Vive. We assume that this would likely be due to HoloLens' ability to maintain visibility of the room and space around the user.
