We are interested in separating both DNA and RNA from some precious frozen tissue. We have standardized the procedure of DNA separation with GenElute™ Mammalian Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit from SIGMA (code G1N10). I was wondering if we may also try to recover RNA from the liquid we usually discard (of course avoiding RNAse step) or if we are forced to change our SOP and move to specific kit? Thanks.
