As far as I know, phoenix OCT is for mouse and rats, not for rabbits. If there is any way of using it on rabbits, it would be great. There is another brand of OCT which can be used for both mouse and rats, which is Bioptigen.
I'm the Chief Scientist with Phoenix Tech Group. As Dr. Cagil said, the system is optimized for mice and rats, but with some experimentation you can images of rabbit retinas. I recommend laying the rabbit on its side and pointing the Micron straight down to make contact with the eye. You'll have to adjust the reference arm and OCT focus as well. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.
