I'm guessing you are only interested in empirical food webs? Theoretical webs, generated by different algorithms, could possibly also give informative results. But it depends on how you were planning on going about the project, of course.

I have recently published two papers on empirical food webs from Brazilian streams as a result of my Ph.D. Most taxa were identified to genus level and so were the taxa they fed upon (I've tried to obtain the best taxonomic resolution possible). I don't know whether they would be useful to you, but since they were already published I'd be happy to share them for other studies!

Would you be interested in food webs from stable isotope analyses? These are not resolved necessarily in terms of individual food chains but depending on what you are asking might still be useful... If so, I might be able to help with several rocky shore ones.

i presume you have access to our webs and the data base at ESA. Whatever your analyses, be sure to include all 4 subwebs, analyzing for the absence of 2 or 3 of them in most webs.

You may want to contact Dr. Larry Brown (USGS Sacramento, California) researcher working on the Foodweb models for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Ecosystem. Dr. Brown is using the Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) software. In general there has been a great deal of work and controversy around the Delta’s Foodweb and how it is functioning or could function. There are many others have done or are doing research on this topic.

I have food web for the Sea of Okhotsk ecosystem (was constructed for Ecopath basing on field surveys' data collected in 1980s-2000s). If such large-scale models are appropriate, let me know.

This depends on what kind of information you need! I have a recent paper in The ISME Journal, dealing with the effect of cyanophages (viruses) in a quite particular short food web from cyanobacteria to african flamingos (see my publication overview on Research Gate, or go to: http://www.nature.com/ismej/journal/vaop/ncurrent/abs/ismej2013241a.html). With some collaborators, we have a large data sets in the English Channel (isotopes, stomach content). Results are currently in publication process. We show in particular a seaward gradient in the benthic-pelagic coupling.

Like Dr. Ulanowicz, I have posted a number of trophically-based ecosystem networks created by a number of authors

on my website in roughly the same SCOR format he uses (http://people.uncw.edu/borretts/data/ecosystem_networks_50_trophic.tgz). This contains some overlap with Dr. Ulanowicz's set, as this was my starting point. However, there are several additional networks as well -- we keep scraping from the literature and collecting from colleagues. The set of 50 was analyzed in a handfull of papers (Borrett and Salas, 2010; Salas and Borrett 2011; Borrett and Freeze 2011).

More recently, my colleagues and I have released an R package to perform Ecosystem Network Analysis (enaR; http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/enaR/index.html). With this package, we are now distributing ~100 ecosystem networks. Approximately 57 of them are trophic-based. Please see the vignette here (http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/enaR/vignettes/enaR.pdf) for a listing of the models (Table 8, p 52) and more on how to access them.

Sure, but what format? I have isotope data for two or three ecosystems (estuarine and offshore) from which food webs can be inferred, but I suspect we might have to subject the data to further analyses to give you what you need.

did some modelling of several aquatic communities food web by means of EwE, including Lake Syamozero (Karelia, Russia), Lake Peipsi-Pihkva (Estonian-Russian boarder), Naroch Lakes (Belorussia), the Caspian Sea (the northern part). All of them are published (see papers in my profile)

at my researchgate profile you can find a published open dataset with data from bacteria to zooplankton of alpine lakes ecosystems. Maybe this dataset meets your requests. If so, just use it. Best wishes
