Not very likely to work. The one that is closer is called T-RFLP but it required a capillary sequencing machine to get the patterns and is based in 16S PCRs. ONe ins single isolates from soil to know the approximate affiliation is called ARDRA. The RFLP directly in soil DNA is very difficult if no clear target to be developed with a labelled probe is applied after digestion. Also the quantities required for it are difficult to obtain from soil. I used all of them in the past. Reconsider the aim of the experiment and the technique to be applied, I am sure you will find better, cheaper and faster options for it.
