I'm looking to find a free copy of a (preferably validated) Amharic health-related quality of life scale. I've seen the SF-36 used before (link below), but am open to other suggestions. If you could kindly forward me a copy that would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) in Amharic, but I expect that this is too specific:

I believe the short form of the SF-36 was adapted to- and normed in Amharic by a Ethiopian-Dutch-Israeli team, and the PI was Dr. Rafi Youngmann. I suggest you write him directly and consult with him (you can use my name as a reference if needed). His email is:

The tool exists. Please contact Dr. Kebede Beyene, a research fellow at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is among the people who validated the tool in Ethiopia.
