You should look for some papers on severe plastic deformation (SPD) of copper. There is a lot of articles on annealing behavior of pure metals subjected to ultra high straining via various SPD methods. For a sake of comparison it would be easier for You to calculate a real strain (epsilon) rather than using a percentage of deformation. Good luck!
Christoph, severe plastic deformation (ECAP or ARB) papers is the best way to find about your question, there are a lot of information regarding to the microstructural stability in Cu and Cu alloys.
